'Optimist' is written about the times we live in, where we might often feel like the world is coming to an end or we’re just inching closer to catastrophe; it’s about making sure you keep looking forward in such times, never blinkering yourself to make it easier and never resigning to apathy; it’s about maintaining a belief that even in small ways we can contribute to making the world a better place, and the hardest times are when we stand to make the biggest and most important changes, both to society and ourselves.
